Two young boys pose for Ghanaian photographer Derrick Ofosu Boateng, happily tangled together with a garden hose. Boateng, who almost
exclusively uses his father’s smartphone for his art-photography, says his goal is to be there to catch the magic before the moment passes. He
only started experimenting with the medium in 2017 and tries to challenge misperceptions of Africa as a place ‘full of atrocities and chaos’.
