3 Note: Refer to Assembly Diagram for
following steps. Sew 6 diagonal block
rows using blocks, D’s, F’s, and H’s
as shown; you will have two extra F’s.
Sew 7 diagonal sash rows using D’s,
E’s, and G’s as shown. Join block rows
and sash n rows together, alternating.
Sew I’s to each corner.
4 Refer to Borders in Quilt Basics. Join
red print border 1 strips and cut to
sizes shown in Assembly Diagram.
Matching centers and ends, sew bor-
der side strips to quilt. Repeat to add
border top and bottom strips.
5 Add cream border 2 and red border 3
in same way.
6 Layer, baste, and quilt. Brenda ma-
chine quilted a leaf motif across the
quilt surface. Bind the quilt.
