Plan
A cute panel print is the basic building
block for what becomes a fabulous, origi-
nal quilt. The pieced fi nishing treatment
on this quilt elevates it from a cute proj-
ect to a spectacular keepsake. The proj-
ect uses squares from 2 different panel
prints from the same collection, but you
can easily substitute your favorite panels
or ⅞ yard of your favorite print.
The pieces on the fi nishing treatment are
fi lled with batting—you can either cut up
a 42 square of batting for these pieces,
or simply use batting scraps from previ-
ous projects.
Use an accurate ¼ ̋ seam allowance
throughout to ensure all elements of
the quilt fi t together well. Handle all bias
edges carefully to avoid distortion.
