all unit 4’s and 2 unit 5’s, intersect-
ing seam. Referring to Diagram III-A,
layer marked unit 4 on unmarked
unit 5 as shown, right sides together
and seams nesting. Stitch ¼ ̋ on both
sides of marked line, cut apart on
marked line and press open to make
2 unit 9’s. Make4 unit9’stotal.
Similarly, referring to Diagram III-B,
layer marked unit 4 on unit 6 as
shown. Join units as described above
to make 2 unit 10’s. Make 8 unit 10’s
total.
Using same technique and referring
to Diagram I-C, use white C’s and
purple C’s to make 6 unit 4’s. Make 4
unit 5’s with violet C’s and purple C’s.
Make 6 unit 6’s with white C’s and
gray C’s as shown.
