- The horizontal lines of the elevated platform are parallel to the
horizontal lines of the lower platform. - The diagonal lines of the elevated platform and the diagonal line of
the lower platform travel along parallel vanishing lines, into the
distance. - Note that the poles are aligned along the same diagonal path as the
diagonal lines. Now all of the diagonal lines on the stern are parallel,
and the perspective looks correct.
