retreats twice a year to stitch,
design and relax. Since we
are all from the midwest it
seemed obvious for us to
create things so familiar to
where we live. We hope you
enjoyed making this four-part
project as much as we had
creating it for you!

(^3) / 8 yard green print for sashing and inner border
(^1) / 6 yard each of blue print #1, blue print #2, and brown print for
Flying Geese
1¼ yards black print for outer border and binding
1½ yards fabric of choice for backing

Cutting Instructions
Note: Measurements for sashings and borders may need to be adjusted
based on the length and width of the three previous rows for this project.
From green print, cut:
2 — 2½” X 36½” strips for vertical sashing
2 — 1¾” X 36½” strips for side inner borders
2 — 1¾” X 31” strips for top and bottom inner borders
From each of blue print #1, blue print #2 and brown print:
1 – 4 ½” x WOF strip, then sub-cut into:
8 — 2½” X 4½” rectangles from blue print #1 for Flying Geese
9 – 2½” X 4½” rectangles from blue print #2 for Flying Geese
9 – 2½” X 4½” rectangles from brown print for Flying Geese
