  1. Sew together a five Flying Geese unit, a three Flying Geese unit, a 4½" x


4" black print strip, a 4½" x 6½" black print strip and a 4½" x 13½" black print


strip to make the left border. Take care to position the geese so they are
flying in the correct direction. Sew it to the left side of the quilt center.


  1. Repeat Step 12 with another five Flying Geese unit, a three Flying Geese
    unit, and three black print strips measuring 4½" x 1¾," 4½" x 8" and 4½" x


14¼" to make the right border. Sew it to the right side of the quilt center.



  1. Sew a five Flying Geese unit between two black print strips measuring
    4½" x 3½" and 4½" x 26" to make the top border then sew it to the top of the


quilt center.


  1. Repeat Step 14 with the last Flying Geese unit between two black print
    strips measuring 4½" x 16½" and 4½" x 13" to make the bottom border. Sew
    it to the bottom of the quilt from Step 14 to complete your Coming Home
    quilt top.

  2. Sandwich the quilt top, batting and backing; baste. Quilt as desired then bind.
