Notes from Our Readers

We love to hear from our readers. Please send us photos of your projects made from this magazine or your thoughts
on our magazine and primitive fiber arts. We can't guarantee that we will publish all submisssions, but we will do our
best to capture your voices. Your notes may be edited for style, space and clarity. Send them to

I started quilting five
years ago to distract
me from breast cancer
treatments and
surgeries. I’m hooked
on your magazine and
look forward to each
issue. Sometimes I will
combine elements of 2
or 3 projects into one.
On the Coming Home project I substituted
a likeness of our A-frame home for the blue
house. I made the Prairie Star with lighter
background colors and hung it on point. My
favorite thing to do is appliqué and I love
combining it with true quilting. I continue to
work on my free motion quilting skills and your
magazine inspires me to keep trying. Thank
you for your wonderful magazine that’s packed
with beautiful projects.

Using what I had on hand I
made Robin Vizzone's Jolly Olde
St. Nick from your Winter 2018
issue. I gave it as a gift and it
was very much appreciated.
