- When the appliqué is complete, position the black oval on the larger
scalloped cranberry oval and pin in place. - Using three strands of #8692 black floss, blanket stitch the perimeter to
appliqué in place. - Blanket stitch the perimeter of the scalloped cranberry edge using three
strands of #8265 brick red floss. - Press under approximately ¼" around the outside edge of the
coordinating cotton oval, and lay wrong side down on the back of the wool
mat. Whip stitch in place. - Be sure to make a label with your name and date for the back of your
finished piece!
