since the British felt they had done a
long, hard slog up a difficult hill, they
were perfectly okay to let India and
Pakistan slide down into the Saturn-
Neptune morass on the other side.
In terms of the news headlines we
all make in our own lives, perhaps
the lesson here is, first of all, to
beware of getting involved in solving
other people’s complicated problems.
Second of all, if we are involved in a
complicated situation any time Saturn
and Neptune happen to be in a close
aspect, we need to find out a way to
sneak silently out the back door before
solutions have been reached and blames
have been assigned. In other words, let
others involve themselves in sliding
down the other side of that hill. P
