On these two pages you will find the basic planting rules for the month of November,
derived from ancient traditions. Even if you’ve never planted by the Moon, these rules are
easy to apply. All it takes to raise a good “crop” (or tend to your house plants) is to have
a little knowledge of lunar lore, and to give your plants the care they deserve!

a.m. First Quarter, Taurus. Fair for annuals,
yield above soil.
12th from 8:33 a.m. through 13th to 3:44
a.m. Full Moon, Taurus. Fair for perennial,
biennial, bulbs, root separations, cuttings.
13th from 3:44 a.m. through 15th to 11:13
a.m. Full Moon, Gemini. Fair for harvesting
hay, etc.; good for fruit, root crops.
15th from 11:13 a.m. through 17th to
4:55 p.m. Full Moon, Cancer. Good for
perennial, biennial, bulbs, root separations,
cuttings.
17th from 4:55 p.m. through 19th to
8:53 p.m. Full Moon and Last Quarter, Leo.
Good for harvesting hay, etc.; fair for fruit,
root crops.

for beauty.

12:57 a.m. Last Quarter, Libra. Fair for
