by Mars opposite Uranus in a way that could make

us demanding love instead. We are in territory that is

rough to negotiate.

The dominant factor today is old crazy himself, Ura-

nus, and tangling with the Sun and Mars, which hap-

pen to be the two things most likely to light his fuse.

Mars makes everyone ready to jump into every situa-

tion, while the Sun has a special effect on those at the

top. Anyone who works in an office will probably no-

tice that even the most mild-mannered boss becomes

a pushy know-it-all. It takes a great deal of finesse to

cope with such things today, but we can do it if we try.

A New Moon day always makes us welcome an op-

portunity for a fresh start, so it is nice to have Jupiter,

and Venus enhancing our moods with sweet dreams

before most of us awaken. Uranus and Mars are close

to the Lights, putting us in a mood for action as we

start the day.

Yesterday was a nice combination of ease and action,

but today things may get more serious, as we can see

with those lunar parallels toward the end of the day.

They come and go quickly, but the Sun is part of that

action as well, showing us how close it is in declina-

tion to Saturn and Pluto. We are likely to be all busi-

ness all the time now, getting our work done.

Those serious vibes remain, but today they have to

compete with Mercury trine Neptune and Venus trine

Uranus. These are not exactly happy-happy joy-joy

contacts, but they do allow us to take a fresh view of

the world and everything in it, including our jobs and

relationships. Together with the Sun-Mars semisextile,

they can pop new ideas we have been thinking about

right to the surface where we can discuss them with

others in the various areas of our life that they apply

to. A fresh view can, in time, give us a fresh start.

Today’s aspects, despite the vast differences among

them, are useful for taking yesterday’s ideas to anoth-

er, more detailed, level. We should spend some down-

time today thinking about them.

During the morning, the aspects give us the opportu-

nity to take those detailed thoughts and begin to turn

them into actions under Mercury sextile Saturn. By the

time the Moon contacts Jupiter we can be off and run-

ning on turning our best thoughts and ideas into glit-

tering realities, and even that square of the Moon to
