‘You can judge a friendship by whether they are willing
to be honest if you look bad in a new pair of jeans.’

‘Demi Moore told me to think about the part I play, how much
attention I’m looking for, and the story I want to tell.’

Having styled hair since the 199Os, Earl
Simms (who styled Sienna Miller on
p126) lives between his Victorian flat in
London and his 193Os NYC apartment.
What was the first item of clothing that
impacted you?‘ A bright red PVC jacket
from my mum’s catalogue. I convinced
her it would keep me warm – it didn’t.’

you’ve learned? ‘Just because it’s in
fashion, doesn’t mean it’s right for you.’

fitted. Get it fitted, no matter what it is.’
