This is, like, totally great news for fans of

Giambattista Valli’s frothy catwalk confections

(so Kendall Jenner and Serena Williams, among

others). The Italian designer is the latest to hook

up with H&M, bringing his much-coveted

signature tulle styles to the high street. If you

yourself hard-pushed to wear tulle gowns to

office, there are ruffled shirts and leather tro

too, as well as slippers and T-shirts. Sounds

THE MOOD

POWER PRINTS

There’s strength in numbers, and that

also applies to prints when it comes

to statement style. Want proof? Look to

Prada, with a Resort 2O2O collection

packed with clashing florals and stripes

(on everything from clothes to

accessories). A number of shows took the

‘more is more’ approach with pattern

(Weekend Max Mara even named its

Resort collection ‘Chaotic Elegance’).

Stella McCartney layered red checks,

smiling suns and leopard print – for more

outré tastes, while Coach combined

botanical prints with stripes and

illustrations on knits (for the print-shy, to

dress down with plain tailoring). If in doubt,

the solution is simple: the more, the merrier.
