With a small brush, shade the ribs
orange. With a larger brush, shade the
top a little and the bottom generously.
Cut a disc of orange paste slightly bigger
than the biggest eye with a plunger
cutter. Cut in two off-centre. Attach the
bigger on the bigger eye and the other
on the smaller. Make sure the bottom
of the eyelids line up and the witch has
the desired expression. Ensure the eyelid
covers the upper eye. If needed, spread
until it does. Dust the fold with orange.
Steps 6a-c.
Roll a thin layer of black paste and cut
with the 5cm round cutter. Thin the
borders with a ball tool. Attach on the
head. Roll a 10g teardrop of black paste.
Gently flatten the base for a cone. Use
the dresden tool to mark creases and
bend the cone. Add to the brim. Roll
a layer of purple paste and cut a strip.
Make a crease with the dresden tool.
Attach on the hat.
Step 7.
Roll a teardrop of pink paste. Trim the
wider end for a flat surface. Glue to the
pumpkin pushing against the eyes.
Create nostrils. Dust the nose red.
Step 8.
Roll a thin string of black paste. Attach to
the eyelid borders and shape.
Devil
Step 9.
Mix 35g of orange and 5g of red paste into
a teardrop then turn into a pumpkin. With
the dresden tool, trace the mouth then
open a little. Place white inside for teeth.
Steps 10a & b.
Shade the ribs, top and bottom of the
pumpkin red. Roll orange/red paste into a
small sausage with pointy ends. Attach to
the top of the eyeball and shape. Repeat
for the other eye. Place diagonally for an
evil expression. Dust the folds red.
Step 11.
Roll a small ball of black paste and press
flat. Cut a triangle. Texture, trim excess
and attach to the chin curving a little.
Roll black paste into small sausages with
pointy ends. Attach for eyebrows and
above the mouth with a curvy shape
for the moustache. Aim for a naughty
expression. Roll white paste into a
sausage with a pointy end. With the ball
tool, press the head where the horns
will be. Glue, allow to harden a little and
shade the lower part light blue.
Step 12.
Roll orange/red paste into a long, thin
sausage and small flattened ball. Cut an
