Boho Festival Cupcakes

Milka is 37 years old, married
and based in Munich, Germany.
By day, she works as a marketing
and campaign manager, by
night, her heart beats for sugar
art. When she fell in love with
sugar art in 2014, she also found
her perfect canvas! Milka was
always passionate about art and
in 2016, she entered her first
competition and was awarded
a bronze medal. Along with
being involved in numerous
worldwide cake collaborations,
in 2019, she went on to host the
scarily amazing Americake Horror
Story collaboration which was
nominated for a prestigious Cake
Masters Award and also named
as one of Global Sugar Artists’
favourite collaborations of the
year! Milka’s classes, whether it be
at shows or closer to home, are
always a fun and crazy experience.

Step 1.
Buttercream the tops of all cupcakes and
then colour 30g of white fondant with
a drop of skin gel. Cut with a cutter and
attach on top of the cupcake.

Step 2.
For the hair, colour fondant with black
gel. Roll and cut a circle the same size,
cut the middle out and attach. Add
texture using a dresden tool. Insert two
balls of black fondant for the eyes and
a skin coloured ball for the nose. For
the eyebrows, roll two strands of black
fondant and stick.

Steps 3a & b.
Colour white fondant with turquoise,
purple and mixed red and ruby. Roll into
strips until no seams are visible. Cut into
two pieces, put next to each other and
roll over again.
