Step 4.Cut out a headband and attach on the (^45)
hair. Next, cut out two feathers and
attach. Add pink dust for the cheeks and
add lashes with a mix of black dust with
alcohol.
Lettering
Step 5.
Colour 10g of fondant each of pale
purple, turquoise and mixed red and
ruby. Place next to each other, roll out
and cut a circle. Mix black dust with
alcohol and paint the lettering.
Step 6.
Roll white fondant and cut two feathers.
Steps 7a & b.
Shape the feathers with a dresden tool
and attach. Mix gold dust with alcohol and
colour the tips. Using the extruder, take
purple fondant and create a strand. Roll
around the ends of the big white feathers.
Sleepy Flower Deer
Step 8.
Colour 30g of fondant brown, 10g black
and a little fuchsia. Cover the cupcake and
cut out a white fondant triangle. Roll a ball
of fuchsia fondant and stick in the middle
of the triangle for the nose.
Step 9.
Roll black fondant into strands and cut
the antler shape.
Step 10.
Create flattened teardrops for the ears
and a smaller white teardrop on top.
Flatten with a ball tool.
Step 11.
Mix black dust with alcohol and paint the
closed eye and lashes using a thin brush.
Roll out coloured fondant and use the
plunger cutters or flowers. Mix gold dust
with alcohol and colour the flowers and
tips of the antlers.
Dreamcatcher
Step 12.
Cover the cupcake with 30g of pale purple
fondant. Knead yellow fondant until soft.
Press through the extruder, cut the strand
into two and bend around each other.
Shape around the circle cutter and let dry.
Colour using gold dust mixed with alcohol.
Step 13.
Use the nozzle tip to press the mandala
pattern into the cupcake. Paint with gold
dust mixed with alcohol.
Step 14.
Make small feathers as before but paint
the tips gold. Attach the strand, leftover
flowers and feathers.
