Build a drone
o, given the previous sections,
you should now be sitting at
your bench with all the parts of
a multirotor set out in front of
you. One might think then that now
would follow a step-by-step assembly
guide. But perhaps
surprisingly that’s not exactly
the direction we’ll take.
You’re HackSpace
magazine readers,
you will knowone end of a screwdriver or a soldering iron from the
other and that’s, to a large extent, the skill you’ll need
to assemble a multirotor. Off-the-shelf components
are designed to be assembled in this way, so instead
of giving you a screw-by-screw guide, it’s better to
pull out a little on the mundane, and zoom in only on
the unusual or problematic parts.
