225gchorizo,thicklysliced
12 good-qualitysausages, sliced
1 redonion,sliced
1 yellowand1 redpepper,sliced
largepinchofdriedoregano
200mlwhitewine
500mlpassata
100mlvegetable stock
1 bayleaf
260g pack frozen garlic bread slices
50gCheddar,grated
1tbsp chopped parsley, to serve
1 Heattheovento180C/Gas4. Heat
a largecasseroledish,addthechorizo
andfryuntilit startsto colour,thenturn
andcookontheotherside.Remove
witha slottedspoonandaddthe
sausages.Brownalloverona medium
heat,thenremovetojointhechorizo.
2 If thepanis a littledry,adda
splash of oil and cook the onion,
peppersandoreganofor 10 mins.
Slicethesausagesandreturntothe
panwiththechorizoandwine. Allow
tobubblefor2-3mins.
3 Stirin thepassata,stockandbay
leaf,andseason.Bringtotheboil.
Arrangethegarlicbreadontop,add
thecheese,thenbakefor 30 mins.
Sprinklewithparsleyand serve with
butteredgreenveg.
