sosurehewasbrave.

“Youmustbebrave,”

exclaimedthepeopleinthe

kingdom.“Youaretheonlyone

who’severmetthedragon!”

ButtheBrave Knight knew

thetruth.

A yearago,ona sunnyday,

he left the castle. The castle

wasbuiltona mountain.He

climbedtherockycliffsand

discoveredthedragon’scave.

Hecaughta glimpseof the

dragon’shugebody.Loudsnores

camefromthesleepinggiant.

TheBraveKnightshook.

Andhescrambledbackdown

themountain as fast as he

couldgo.

Hewasn’tbrave.Hewas

afraidof thedragon,just as

everyoneelsewas.

Then,oneday,

somethingawful

happened.

The Brave Knight

was not so surehe

was brave.

One day, the

drawbridge fell

into the river.
