Jeweled Delights

Using vintage costume jewelry, assemble one-of-a-kind
ornaments. Let our ideas inspire your creations.

Blooming Beauty (opposite, at top): Trim the clasps
from two coordinating brooches: one bloom-shaped and
one with leaves and a stem. Using thin gold wire, connect
the stem brooch to the back of the bloom. You can also
hot-glue together graduated sizes of fl oral brooches to
make a multilayer ornament.

Pink Rings (opposite, at bottom left): Trim clasps
from a circular pin and two smaller round or fl ower
brooches, pendants, or earrings. Hot-glue or wire
smaller pieces at top and bottom of circular
piece. Hot-glue an earring or decorative
button in the center of larger piece. Wire on
dangling accents.

Teal Wreath (opposite, at
bottom right): Remove clasp
from a bracelet or necklace.
Hot-glue bracelet or a necklace
section to a 2-inch metal ring,
trim off extra, and hot-glue
a bow-shape pin over the
connection. Tie on tinsel for fun.
