D

riven by a passion for sourcing the very
best in organic food, the Crazy Jack
tea m have a f ir m belief t hat food should
only be grow n as nat ure intended.
Whether it’s Crazy Jack Organic Sultanas,
produced from f lourishing grape vines in Turkey,
where fa r mers tend to t he grapes by ha nd, lay ing t hem
out over the plains to dry naturally in the hot sun, or
Crazy Jack Organic Desiccated Coconut, grown by
sma ll fa r ming v illages in Sr i L a nk a, each of t he
products in the Crazy Jack range are produced by
farmers who share the brand’s values.
And if the right products aren’t available, Crazy Jack
don’t give up! When they couldn’t find any organic figs
in the 1980s they started an organic project for figs in

Turkey. That same project still farms their wonderful
sweet figs today – and Crazy Jack buy every one
they harvest.
Like all its products, Crazy Jack’s Organic Dried
Apricots never contain preservatives. Their rich
f lavour comes from being dried naked beneath the
sun in the Euphrates Valley. As their sugars
caramelise they turn a deep, earthy brown, rather
t ha n t he ora nge colour of most apr icots, which is
caused by using sulphur dioxide as a preservative.
Crazy Jack’s organic baking range, which includes
Mixed Fruit, Pumpkin Seeds, Ground Almonds,
Desiccated Coconut, Traditional Dried Apricots and
Sultanas, is available in stores nationwide, including
now at ASDA.
