is,youwanttocopyimagesorvideos

directlyfromyouriPhonetoyourPC’s

storagedrive.

alternativestousingApple’ssoftware,

however,includingWinXMediaTrans,

whichwe’lllookathere.

1 Install

FindWinXMediaTransatwww.winxdvd.com/mediatrans.

Downloadandruntheinstaller.Onceinstalled,you’llneedto

downloaditsdriversforAppleproducts,both32-bitand64-bit

versions. Wefoundthistooka longtime,butit’spossiblethe

server or ourInternetconnectionwashavinga badday.Once

it’s done, youcanruntheappandpluginyouriPhone.

2 Plugged in

You’ll know if your iPhone has been detected by your PC

because, if it’s the first time you’ve connected them together, a

notification will appear asking what you want to do when it’s

plugged in. In WinX MediaTrans, the ‘Not connected’ line (top left)

changes to the name of your device. If you can’t get it to connect,

try plugging its cable into a different USB port.
