Work 9htr and 8 rows to

measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using

9mm hook, or size required to

obtain tension.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Each chevron “valley” is made

by working tr3tog as follows:

(Yrh, insert hook in next st, yrh,

draw through two loops on

hook) three times, yrh and draw

through all 4 loops on hook.

Each chevron “peak” is made

by working: (1htr, 1tr, 1htr) into

same st – 2 sts increased.

PATTERN NOTES

For second and third sizes, length

can be increased by working

three htr pattern rounds in each

colour of fi rst chevron section

instead of two.
