Yarn A: Steel Grey x 4 skeins

Yarn B: Navy Blue x 4 skeins

Yarn C: Burnt Orange x 1 skein

Yarn D: Mustard

YARN ALTERNATIVES

Use any heavy weight macramé

rope or thick t-shirt fabric to

achieve a similar effect.

rug weaving, teaches macramé

and crochet and works as a

PATTERN NOTES

Bobbiny cord comes in large

skeins of 50m or 100m. To avoid

getting in a tangle always fi nd the

end with a knot in it to begin with

and use this to start your project.

BASE

With two strands of

yarn A and 12mm hook,

make an adjustable ring.

Rnd 1: 2ch (counts as 1htr

throughout), 9htr in ring, sl st in

top of 2ch – 10htr.

Rnd 2: 2ch, 1htr in same st, 2htr

in each st around, sl st in top of

2ch – 20htr.

Rnd 3: 2ch, 1htr in same st, 1htr,

[2htr in next st, 1htr] nine times,

sl st in top of 2ch – 30htr.

Rnd 4: 2ch, 1htr in same st, 2htr,

[2htr in next st, 2htr] nine times,

sl st in top of 2ch – 40htr.

Rnd 5: 2ch, 1htr in same st, 3htr,

[2htr in next st, 3htr] nine times,

sl st in top of 2ch – 50htr.

Rnd 6:1ch, sl st blo around, sl st

in top of fi rst ch – 50 sts.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
