PATTERN NOTES
This triangular shawl is worked
flat from the top down, with
increases incorporated into the
lace section, and at the corners
of the plain sections.

The lace section is worked in yarn
A, with plain sections worked in
yarn B. To avoid carrying yarn B
across the lace section, both yarn
B skeins are used simultaneously
and labelled “B1” and “B2”.
Whichever skein is not in use
should be dropped, with the
thread held in front of the work
so it can be picked up easily in

the next row. Yarn A should
also be held in front of the work
when changing colour, unless
otherwise stated.

For smooth colour changes,
switch to new colour on last step
of last stitch in previous colour.

To hide the floats between
rows, trap them inside the first
two stitches worked in the new
colour.

Turning chains do not count as
a stitch.
