f spending a day painting a landscape along

the dramatic Cornish coastline sounds like

your idea of heaven, listen up! The National

Trust is asking us all to do just that, aiming to

raise money to protect the cliff-top for

generations to come and make history. They’ve

partnered with the Newlyn School of Art and

installation artist Anthony Garratt to try and break

the world record for the most people painting

a landscape outdoors in the same location. The

event takes place on 1st September, lining up painters

along the mile footpath between Land’s End and

Sennen in west Cornwall. The £ 2 entry fee will help

create new stone footings and protect the rare flora

and fauna which live along the path. Book your spot
