STUFFED
Remove stems from a
pint of fresh figs and cut
a deep X in the top of
each, making sure not to
cut all the way through.
Stuff with blue cheese
and wrap with thinly
sliced prosciutto.

PICKLED
Fill a glass pint jar with
small fresh figs (halved).
Bring ½ cup each white
wine vinegar and water,
1 Tbsp honey, 2 tsp
cracked black pepper
and 1 tsp salt to a boil.
Pour over figs, cover and
refrigerate until chilled.

SANDWICHED
Butter 2 slices of thick
country-style bread.
With buttered sides
facing out, fill with
sliced Gruyère and
sliced fresh figs. Cook
in a nonstick skillet on
medium until golden
brown and melty.
