‘FANTASIES’ Angela Taylor

‘Wife & lover

plotted to kill

rich farmer’

THE wife of a millionaire
farmer and her lover
swapped messages about
killing him, a court heard.
Paul Cannon, 54, sent a
WhatsApp to Angela
Taylor, 53, saying, “I’ll kill
for you darling,” after the
farmer refused to divorce.
Around 48 hours before
William Taylor, 69, was last
seen alive, Cannon said he
wanted to “get rid of that
poisonous c***”.
He also told her that her
ex should be “put down”.
Mr Taylor’s decomposed
body was found on a
riverbank in February.
Cannon told police the
notes were “fantasy”, St
Albans crown court heard.
The pair, of Hitchin,
Herts, and Gwyn Griffiths,
60, of Folkestone, Kent,
accused of helping, deny
murder and conspiracy.
The trial continues.

LOW-PAID teaching
assistants are dipping into
their pockets to help fami-
lies buy uniforms, fund
trips and provide lunch
money, a survey claims.
Unison found schools
are even providing emer-
gency supplies of groceries
for struggling families,
with more than one in 10
opening food banks.
Half the 4,500 teaching
assistants surveyed said
more children are arriving
at school hungry.
Teaching assistants earn
around £15,975 a year.
But more than a fifth
said they had bought
uniforms and a similar
number provided PE kits.
Unison’s Jon Richards,
said: “It’s shocking some
parents are so desperate
they’re turning to teaching
assistants for help.”

PERVERT Vanessa George

Worst female paedophile to be set free ‘within days’

BRITAIN’S worst female paedophile Vanessa
George is to be freed from prison within days.
George, 49, abused 64 babies and toddlers at
Little Ted’s nursery in her native Plymouth,
Devon, and then sent snaps to fellow perverts.
She got a minimum seven years in 2009 for
offences that a judge said “plumbed new depths
of depravity”.
George was refused parole in May 2017 but
was told by the Parole Board this July that she
would be released. Now Plymouth MP Luke

Pollard has been told George will definitely be
freed this month – and possibly within days.
He had asked the Ministry of Justice to see if
there were any matters which remained on her
file which could be investigated.
But police said a review had established each
charge available had been put to her and, in
effect, there was “nothing left in the can”.
Mum-of-two George, who sent her pictures of
abuse to paedophile Colin Blanchard, will be
banned from social media and from working

with children. She will also have to live at an
approved address and be barred from visiting
Devon and Cornwall on her release from prison.
Mr Pollard said he hoped lessons will be
learned, including a stronger voice for the
parents and carers of very young victims – who
he said were also victims – and a clearer process
for them to challenge an abuser’s parole.
He said: “We need to look at how the voice of
the victim can be heard and not hampered by a
complex and exhaustive process.”

former marital home.

ADDICTION
Ant, 43, was said to be stunned Lisa refused
to let him in to take the last of his possessions,
despite repeatedly ringing the doorbell.

unaware Ant himself was going to turn up at
the house in West London.
But his camp insist she was told he would
attend the mansion where she now lives alone.
Today’s meeting in London will be a chance
to move closer to completing their split.
Our source said: “They are both adults and
it’s hopeful things are resolved soon.”
Ant and Lisa met at a Smash Hits

tion drug addiction and had a stint in rehab.
