Goals in this section can be used for employees directly
involved in transporting people, including public bus
and school bus drivers and taxi and limousine service
personnel.
Customer Support
■Handle customer complaints so that the supervisor
needs to deal with no more than one complaint a year.
■Provide accurate and courteous information to passen-
gers when they ask.
■Assist elderly passengers into and out of vehicle.
■Receive at least one commendation per year from a
passenger.
■Offer to help passengers with their baggage as they
enter and exit the vehicle.
■Deliver passengers to airport at the appropriate termi-
nal without loss of time.
■Ensure zero instances of a passenger missing a flight as
a result of driver error.
■Arrive at each bus stop on route within two minutes
of scheduled time except during weather emergen-
cies.
■Discipline children on school bus in a consistent manner
and inform the principal of all disciplinary problems.
■Take every passenger to his or her destination by the
most direct or lowest-cost route.
General Operations
■Arrive for each shift ready and able to drive.
■Wear prescribed work clothing and begin shifts with
clothing clean and neat.
