■Arrive 10 minutes before route to check messages and
perform pre-trip.
■Perform a pre-trip under-the-hood and drivetrain
inspection daily.
■Ensure that each child boarding bus has a proper and
visible identification tag.
■Maintain and submit trip logs to the supervisor at the
end of each shift.
■Apply company rules on accepting large-denomination
bills.
Safety and Maintenance
■Ensure that the vehicle does not go into service with
any mechanical problems that might affect safety.
■Eliminate all passenger injuries caused by preventable
mechanical problems.
■Receive no more than one validated complaint about
vehicle operation in any calendar year.
■Receive zero tickets for speeding or other traffic viola-
tions.
■Receive no more than one validated complaint per year
regarding cleanliness of vehicle.
■Maintain safety certification as required by local
authority.
