Stitcher’s guide

Our carol motifs are stitched

onto 14-count white aida

using 8 different colours of

stranded cotton. As they

contain whole cross stitches

only, they are perfect for

stitching beginners.

Stitch your true love a gorgeous card or gift with

designs inspired by a classic festive song

By Amanda Stevenson

1

Find the centre of your

fabric by folding it in

half both horizontally and

vertically. Follow the arrows

on the chart to find its centre

and start stitching from here,

in the centre of the fabric,

working your way outwards.

2

Complete all the cross

stitches using two

strands of cotton. Eight

different colours of cotton

are used to create these

designs, so refer to the key as

you stitch to make sure you

are always working correctly.

3

Carefully check over your

finished stitching and

then prepare it for making

into festive cards and gifts.
