HAVING A BALL
When he hasn’t been turning in his usual
consistent performances on the field for the
Reds, James Milner has been helping make
a big impact off it. On the opening night in
December, The James Milner Foundation
passed the £1million barrier at their ‘A Night in
Hollywood’ ball held at Event City in Manchester.
Proceeds from the ball, which was attended
by Jürgen Klopp and several of Milner’s LFC
team-mates, will go towards the work of the
Foundation, which aims to promote healthy
recreation for the benefit of young people in the
UK. The Manchester event followed a lunch at
Liverpool’s Hilton hotel the previous Thursday.
