e has been called

But four-and-a-

half years into his

Liverpool residency

Roberto Firmino

believes his best

work is yet to

come, which is

truly music to the

ears of Kopites all

over the land.

The 28-year-

old has developed

season-by-season

since he was

recruited from

Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015 and says that his progress

can be measured in every attribute. “I think I have improved a

lot in every way. Physically, tactically, mentally, I learned a bit

of every aspect. But I do not want to stop here – I want to keep

improving.

“I think our team has been growing over the years, mentally

especially. And when you are really well mentally on the pitch

it is very important with every decision you have to take. I hope

we can keep growing mentally as there is always room for

further improvement.”

One of the ways that strong mentality has manifested itself

in recent weeks is the number of late goals the team has

produced.
