ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER CUP
The Reds have had busy Decembers before, but the
forthcoming ixture-list will see them play eleven
games in ive diferent competitions in the 36 days
between 7 December 2019 and 11 January 2020.
The schedule includes a cup quarter-inal and a semi-
inal in less than 24 hours as they follow the Carabao
Cup tie at Aston Villa (when the team will be managed
by Under-23s coach Neil Critchley) with their World
Club Cup appearance in Doha.
Before that, there is the small matter of sealing
qualiication to the knockout stages of the Champions
League when they make the trip to Austria to take on
FC Salzburg on Matchday Six.
The 36-day spell begins at Bournemouth and ends
with a irst visit to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
and includes another four Premier League games
in-between, including Anield dates with Watford (also
LFC Foundation Day), Wolves and Sheield United, as
well as a Boxing Day trip to high-lying Leicester City.
There is also the third round of the FA Cup to it in,
with Liverpool hosting Everton in a repeat of the third-
round tie from January 2018, pictured.
