always switched on in Settings.When I

copy something,Iget the audibleclick

to notifying thatacliphas been made

and, untiltoday, therewas alsoavisual

notification, though this has now

stopped. However,when Ipress Win+V,

Idon’t getalistofwhat’sbeencopied.

Iknowmycopies aresuccessful

becauseIuse ausefulthird-par ty app,

ClipClip(clipclip.com), whichdisplays

them. ClipClip isvery good and I

recommend itto others, after having

found it inWebUser.Inow depend on

it forall my cut-and-paste activity and

will certainlykeep it,atl east as a

backup.It’svery versatile.

Even so,Iwant ClipboardHistory

backforseveral reasons, not least

because of its abilitytosync with other

devices, includingmy Androidphone

and tablet. ClipClipis greatbut it isn’t

ableto sync to Android.

Let’sstart withthebasics. Open

Settings, System,Clipboard and

enable al lthe options to useclipboard

histor yand syncingbetween your

computers and devices. These

featuresmay be blockedbyprivacy

settings, so openSettings,Privacy,

Acti vity Histor yand turn on allthe

switches,sothe clipboardcan be

synced viayourMicrosoft account.

Some people find that restarting

Explorer works. Right-click the

taskbar andselect Task Manager,

select theProcesses taband find

Windows Explorer,thenright-click it

andsele ct Restart.

Press Win+Rand typeregeditto

open theRegistryEditor. Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\

SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\

Windows\System

On theright ,wehave nothing and

clipboardhistory worksfine. However,

some peoplefindaddingthe

followingvaluessolves theproblem:

EnableActivityFeed,

PublishUserActivities,

AllowClipboardHistoryand

AllowCrossDeviceClipboard.

valuetocreatethem.Double-click
