The two most fundamental aspects to
consider are size and resolution. Besides
heavily influencing amonitor’s cost, these two
specs can influence and be influenced by
anything from available desk space to
intended use,and what kind of PC or laptop
you want to get connected.
As such, there’s no single ideal screen size
or pixel count, although most of the monitors
we’ve included here measure 27in diagonally,
which is apretty good sweet spot forboth
office work and gaming. Toosmall and you
might struggle to fit more than acouple of
windows at atime; toobig and having to
stretch each pixel can mean text, images and
video don’t look as crisp and sharp.
