Simon Upton has photographed
everyone from Giorgio Armani to
Viscountess Weymouth at home.
This month, for Tatler Living,
he shot the newlywed Lord Ivar
Mountbatten – whose remarkable
Regency estate, Bridwell Park,
had him bowled over. ‘In my mind,’
he said, ‘there is not much that can
beat English parkland.’

In Tatler Living, Lady Bamford – the
doyenne of entertaining – shares her
top tips on the art of laying the perfect
table. ‘Absolutely everything I do is
inspired by nature,’ she says. ‘I don’t
really follow interiors trends. The
one thing I’ve always followed is
the desire to bring nature indoors.’
Journalist and broadcaster Jane
Mulkerrins began her career at
The Sunday Times. She moved to
New York in 2010, and now writes
for The Times, The Telegraph and
The Guardian. Her interviewees
include Gwyneth Paltrow, George
Clooney and Stormy Daniels. On
interviewing Liv Tyler for this issue,
Jane says: ‘It’s not often a celebrity
invites you into their home, but
Liv wanted me to see her real life.
Family is the most important thing
to Liv, so meeting her incredibly
charming children, Milo, Sailor
and Lula, was a delightful bonus.’

the test to investigate what the capi-
tal has to offer. How do the results
match up to 2018? ‘Gyms have
become more holistic,’ she reveals.
‘Flotation tanks, sound baths and
hi-tech facials are just some add-
ons we’ve come to expect today.’

she writes about finding love post-
divorce. Ahead of the publication
of her ninth title, Candace says:
‘I felt like I was writing about
uncharted territory, which was
the same feeling I had when I
started writing Sex and the City.’

International bestselling author
Candace Bushnell rose to stardom
after her column for the New York
Observer was adapted into the hit
