BIDDING GENIUS

The Cotswold crew were out in force at a fund-

raising dinner for The Dinosaur Trust held at

Daylesford in Kingham. Tycoons, European royals

and, of course, the Bamford clan gathered for deli-

cious fare and heated bidding at the live auction.

The lots for sale (including a football masterclass

with David Beckham and a driving lesson with

Jeremy Clarkson) were so sought after that Olly

Barker had to tell one husband and wife that they

were actually bidding against each other. Half a

million raised, guests danced till dawn to a set by

DJ Ainsley May – flown in specially from Ibiza.
