Over to You
T
his is my version of the
floral cards from issue 271
(Sept 2018). I love the mixture
of flowers and different card
settings. I stitched them
onto white aida as well as
linen. Now I’ll keep them for
special occasions for my mum,

Star Letter
T
his week, I finally finished my ‘Our Lady of Guadalupe’
cross stitch. I started it over ten years ago and have
plodded along, working on it on and off over the years.
Finally, I made a New Year’s resolution to finish this cross stitch
chart in 2019. It feels so good to finally have it completed and
I will now hang it on my wall with pride.
Stephanie Bermea, Texas, USA
Hannah: Wow Stephanie, this chart is so detailed and
intricate, it clearly took dedication to finally finish it. Your
letter provides us stitchers with a good message – that once
you set yourself a goal, your hard work really does pay off,
doesn’t it? So, what will your next challenge be? I’m certain
that many of our readers will draw inspiration from this letter,
and they will finally get those trickier charts done!
