his issue is bursting with new season stitching treats

for you to enjoy. Whatever the style you prefer,

whatever the size and complexity of the project you

have time for, we’ve got the project for you.

See in the New Year in style with our versatile set

bunting, invitations and photo booth props! And after the

festivities, don’t forget to thank family and friends with our

adorable woodland critters thank you cards (p74).

My favourite time period is the 1920s so I can’t wait to

stitch Jenny Van De Wiele’s Art Deco sampler on page

68. And I’m excited to learn some new stitches with

Faby Reilly’s set of pretty biscornu pincushions (p38). They

use a range of techniques including satin stitch, spider web

stitch and Rhodes butterfly stitch.

Cross stitching is a fantastic mindful hobby

• it is a great way to switch off from any stresses and have

some quality ‘me’ time. So,
