Project Thank You Cards
DESIGNED BY JENNY BARTON
Show your gratitude using this adorable set of cuddly
characters – their little faces will say it all
a bunch
S
aying thank you is a simple
gesture that we use every day,
but when we put pen to paper
and write it in a card it means so
much more. So, what could be better
than a hand-stitched furry friend
to send to the people that you’re
grateful to, while simultaneously
giving them a simple gift to cherish?
Suitable for advanced beginners,
each card will take approximately
six to eight hours to make, and
incorporates a mixture of cross stitch,
fractional stitches and backstitch.
With six woodland critters to choose
from, including a tiny fox cub, long-
eared rabbit and bobble-hatted
squirrel, the hard thing will be
deciding which one to stitch first!
You can either use the
backstitched sentiment that Jenny has
designed or create your own to make
the cards suitable for any occasion.
Once complete, mount your little
cuties in hand-cut aperture cards and
then add a handwritten message for
a delightful final flourish!
Thanks
It’s always good fun to come up with
sweet characters such as these, and so
I absolutely love this set of woodland pals!
It was especially enjoyable to design all
their clothes and accessories.
