DORIAN’S DEADLY

DESTRUCTION

H

URRICANE
Dorian ripped
through the
Caribbean
and onto the
U.S. mainland, charting
a course of deadly
destruction and laying
waste to everything it
touched — including
houses, cars, airplanes,
communities and any
infrastructure in its path.
More than a million
citizens were placed
under mandatory
evacuation after the
hurricane ravaged
hundreds of
homes and was
classified as a
Category 5, topping
a sustained wind
speed of 185 mph
— the highest
recorded since
Hurricane Wilma in
2005.
By the time
Dorian threatened

to lash the U.S. coast
all along the Eastern
Seaboard, it still had a
force of over 100 mph
— leaving thousands
without power and
causing life-threatening
flash floods, according
to the National
Hurricane Center.
Here The
National
ENQUIRER
brings you
pictures of
the storm’s
devastating
