‘RAFAEL’ COFFEE TABLE
by Paola Navone
Asymmetrical, with a crisp, contemporary
edge, and yet still somehow organic, this
striking coffee table has Paola Navone’s
design stamp all over it. The marble tabletop
(also available in green enamelled lava
stone) is fractured into three shards, which
are kept together by a sturdy base and legs
in distressed teak.

‘POLTRONA 02’ LOUNGE CHAIR
by Piero Lissoni
As Living Divani marks its 50th anniversary,
The Uncollected Collection showcases
its future vision. The limited-edition series
includes two families: one with rounded,
oversized silhouettes, the other with sinuous,
sculptural forms. Our pick is ‘Poltrona 2’,
a cast-aluminium lounge chair with a chubby
form and futuristic sheen, also in red or silver.

HALF DOME’ FLOOR LAMP
by Naoto Fukasawa
Spanish outdoor specialist Kettal has been
in the business for more than 50 years and
can be relied on to anticipate what our
backyard needs next. In this case, it’s more
moonlight, courtesy of Japanese designer
Naoto Fukasawa and his soft-edged
minimalism. Evoking the moon both in
shape and in the glow it casts, the ‘Half
Dome’ floor lamp seems suspended in
space, thanks to its narrow, seamless stem.
Available in a whopping 34 colours and
two different bases, Fukasawa’s slick lunar
homage makes the ideal post-dusk outdoor
accessory. The sun may have set, but you’ll
always have the moon.

‘TRIBECA 3666’ BENCH
by CMP Design
CMP Design’s Tribeca collection for Pedrali
is a playful, ‘pasta-inspired’ addition to
the Milan-based studio’s eclectic repertoire,
which spans corporate identities, graphics
and industrial product design. Available
in six vibrant colours (including this matt
salmon pink), the small two-seater bench
is a contemporary reworking of the
ubiquitous 1960s steel-and-cord patio chair.
Its spaghetti-like webbing, vertically woven
in extruded PVC with a flexible nylon core,
wraps around a tubular powder-coated steel
frame to create a lightweight, easy-to-clean
and stackable design. The bench is part
of an extended family of outdoor products
that also includes a matching lounge
chair, an armchair and a stool – the perfect
summer gathering.
