Directory) with Daniel Zamarbide.
This family home was built on the
site of an existing structure near
the historic hilltop chapel Nossa
Senhora do Monte, and while a
historic façade has been preserved,
inside, the space has been
completely rethought in concrete,
with touches of pink marble from
the nearby Estremoz quarry, green
azulejo tiles, and local carpentry.
A blue metal staircase spirals up
to the rooftop, where a pool is
lined with Portuguese white stone.
