Use gold to colour around the eyeholes,
all the dots and the drops.
Steps 15a & b.
Make two decorative elements for
the top and bottom of the mask using
sugarpaste and a mould. Paint gold and
fix these decorative elements and
the balls.
Steps 16a & b.
Decorate the surfaces around the
eyeholes as well as the top and the
bottom of the mask with different
coloured dots. Make accents with gold
and silver as shown. Continue to decorate
until happy with the overall design.
The mask is ready!
Similar to this mask, and using the same
dyes, you can make a softer and a simpler
version decorating the entire mask with
feathers.
