War king in Series
One advantage of organizing your collage into themes
is that you can be inspired to create several paintings
on the same theme. Here are some pieces from a series
on women and their often confusing roles-glamorous,
domesticated, and romantic.
A series can be just three or four pieces or a lifetime's
work. For three years I concentrated almost entirely on
Shakespeare's plays and characters. Later I turned to
Marcel Proust.
