My thoughts went to Cubism and the French painter Georges Braque when I saw this
cliff. As always, the task was to fi nd a functioning composition. In this case, I found
a vertical composition more interesting than a horizontal one and tried to get each
corner in harmony. During post-production I did some local dodging and burning
to optimise the balance, and added a slight vignette to concentrate the image.
