Vijaya Hospital has today grown into

One of the first multi-speciality hospi-

tals in Chennai, Vijaya Hospital believes

in providing selfless service for a healthy

society. It has earned many awards for

its dedicated work over the years. In

2003, it was hailed by UNICEF as a

‘mother-and-baby-friendly hospital’ and

earned a commendation from the Asso-

ciation of Healthcare Providers (India)

for exceptional services rendered

during the 2015 Chennai floods.

In 2017, the same association be-

stowed the institution with a

‘Best Hospital to Work For’ rec-

ognition. In 2018, VMET was

recognized as a Centre of Quality Promo-

tion by the Consortium of Accredited

Healthcare Organizations. This year, the

trust was re-accredited for the third time

by the National Accreditation Board for

Hospitals & Healthcare Providers.

VMET’s goal to provide egalitarian,

quality services continues unabated.

Going forward, the trust aims to establish

a state-of-the-art oncology centre as well

as offer training and education

programmes for medical
