Ethan’s accident caused life-threatening internal organ damage.
He was critically injured and needed urgent specialist medical treatment.
Fortunately, the Starship National Air Ambulance, New Zealand’s only
mobile paediatric intensive care unit, was able to fl y a specialist clinical
team and equipment to him, as well as bring him home.
It takes $1.5m every year to keep us fl ying.
